Amber can prevent the infestation of ticks and fleas, but it will not help with severe insect infestation. Change the benstein chain annually or twice a season to provide the best protection. Order a new chain when the stones are fully polished to maintain the effect of the amber chain. Important note about size: please measure the neck circumference of your pet correctly, so that you should not order another amber necklace. For the collar to fit perfectly, you should be able to put one or two fingers between the neck and the collar. Order a larger chain if the length of the neck circumference is at the border between two sizes. The amber chain must be close to your dog's neck, but must not interfere with breathing.
